Our Operations Manager will be a focused problem solver with an innate sense of prioritization ensuring our executive leadership can focus on the growth and evolution of our organization. Working on a variety of tasks and projects, you will be instrumental in supporting the heartbeat of TRU LUV by ensuring operational and administrative tasks and projects are completed with discerning prioritization and meticulous attention to detail and care.

Your work day might look like:

  • Working closely with the COO and Executive Associate to ensure the day-to-day operations of the business run smoothly and effectively
  • Collaborating with the COO and finance team to ensure the budget remains up to date and reporting deadlines are met
  • Drafting contracts, creating reports, workflows, budget updates, procedures and other necessary documents and frameworks
  • Collaborating with our Product Lead and Community Lead to ensure all operational tasks and reporting requirements are effectively completed while exploring opportunities for continuous improvement and evolution as our teams grow
  • Interacting with a diverse group of stakeholders: from our legal advisors and compliance bodies, our investors, advisors and the Board, to collaborators and co-creators, gathering information and prioritizing tasks to completion
  • Supporting community-building initiatives and building our recruiting pipeline alongside our teams

Abilities you bring to TRU LUV:

  • 6+ years experience in an operations management, project management or people and culture capacity, supporting a fast-paced, high vibration team
  • Demonstrated understanding of compliance frameworks
  • An ability to prioritize, organize, and act on a large number of tasks simultaneously and with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong operations skills: researching, briefing, scheduling, finance 
  • Comfortable in a startup where plans and priorities can change quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills in a cross-functional team
  • A proven background communicating with executives and high level professionals
  • Advanced capabilities utilizing Sharepoint and Office 365 Suite of tools 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to stay on top of a full workload with many priorities
  • Thorough and creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability
  • A demonstrated ability to think through and take action on the little details required for results
  • A thoughtful and considerate mindset, to ensure our team is well supported
